Samira Grill is a Mediterranean Restaurant in Anya Resort, Tagaytay. This luxurious hotel stand in a strategic location surrounding with natural beauty. This is truly a relaxing place to get away from the city.
I adore the modern design of this restaurant, with white linens, wooden floor and comfortable couches. This is great for family gatherings even for intimate lunch or dinner dates.
You will have this view while enjoying the dishes being prepared for you. Since it’s cold in Tagaytay, I suggest you sit in the veranda for you to enjoy the pool view and enjoy the cold breeze, too.
Parmesan Croquetas (Php320) – deep fried bread with Truffle sauce
Samira Greek Salad (Php470) – Tagaytay greens, grilled vegetables, walnuts, blue cheese, honey dressing
Australian Beef Prime Rib (Php3,150) – green beans, confit shallot, bordelaise sauce
This succulent steak was flavored nicely. It was served medium rare and we couldn’t get our hands off it. It has a nice marbled to it that’s certainly satisfying.
The herbs, vegetables were freshly picked from the farm as they aim to bring food to their customers directly from farm to table.
Chilean Sea Bass (Php1750) – pan seared Chilean Sea Bass, cauliflower puree, broccoli, turmeric sauce
The plating is superb and taste wise, it’s amazing. Sea Bass has that nice crisp on the side yet soft and tender on the inside.
Seafood Paella (Php950) – a dish of saffron flavored rice with chicken, seafood and assorted vegetables
This Paella is huge. It can
Banana Smothie
Brazo de Mercedes
Classic Chocolate Cake
These were such a nice way to end a hefty meal. I enjoyed the Chocolate Cake as it was moist and real decadent. The Brazo de Mercedes was soft and jiggly and its custard filling is not too sweet.
